Beneath Table Mountain’s golden light,
We gathered hearts and spirits bright.

Words took flight, a joyful tune,
As Cape Town danced beneath the moon.

A Joyful Homecoming:
My Cape Town Book Launch

Me and my book FLOW - Pachway to wellness, joy and fulfilment

What an unforgettable day!

On the 5th of March, I had the great joy and privilege of launching my book in Cape Town — my beloved hometown, the place where my roots run deep and my heart always feels most alive.

To have my book published worldwide on Amazon and available locally in South Africa is already a dream come true, but to celebrate its arrival in the arms of Table Mountain, surrounded by friends, family, and kindred spirits?

That was something truly special.

The interview

Nyaniso Tuto interviewing me

The launch was held at Exclusive Books in the V&A Waterfront, one of my favourite book havens, and such a fitting place to begin this new chapter.

The weather was glorious — the kind of sunshine that wraps you up like a warm hug. Cape Town, in her full splendour, showed off with blue skies and that majestic mountain watching over us like a wise old guardian.

We gathered in a cosy, vibrant space filled with laughter, inspiration, and some heartfelt moments I’ll never forget.

The cherry on top? I was interviewed by the beautiful and brilliant Nyaniso Tutu, granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Warm, wise, and wonderfully engaging, Nyaniso brought depth, spark, and a touch of Tutu magic to the conversation.

Dressed in a stunning outfit that she designed and sewed herself — yes, you read that right — she lit up the room with her presence and grace.

We spoke about the journey of the book, the life experiences that shaped it, and the message I hope it carries into the world — the invitation to live in flow, with joy and purpose.

Celebration

After the event, the celebrations continued around the corner at Paul, a charming French restaurant.

With drinks in hand, delicious snacks being passed around, and the buzz of connection in the air, we toasted to life, creativity, and all the magic that Cape Town brings.

There were moments of raucous laughter, quiet hugs, and the kind of storytelling that only happens when people are truly at ease and present with one another.

For me, it was more than a book launch.

It was a homecoming — a celebration not only of words on paper but of a life lived fully, shared openly, and rooted in the beauty of South Africa.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who joined, to Nyaniso for her thoughtful questions and radiant spirit, and to Cape Town for being, as always, the most beautiful city in the world.
